Summary

3D Artist and Composer, Stephen Overton is from Powell, Tennessee, and graduated with a B.S. in Digital Media and minor in music from East Tennessee State University in the Spring of 2021. He is well versed in 3D modeling, 3D texturing, sound design, and music composition. At ETSU, Stephen worked on two projects for the university. The first project was modeling a crash cart in an interactive simulation for nurses and staff members at the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. The second was a virtual reality game titled Drive-In Disaster. Stephen retained an internship during his Sophomore year with the Nashville iD Tech Camp. He was responsible for teaching 3D modeling, game design, and video editing skills to campers ranging from seven to seventeen in age. In addition, Stephen was employed with Lowe’s Home Improvement during the summer of his junior year. As a Musician, Stephen takes his musical training and applies it to creating compositions and sound effects for use within games.

Mr. Overton’s goals include working as a 3d artist and sound designer, teaching digital media, and eventually opening his game studio.
